Emily's Mini Farm

From six chicks to a five-acre mini farm

Discover how Emily's Mini Farm grew from six chicks in 2013 into a five-acre family farm offering animal experiences and pet care.

Emily’s Mini Farm began in 2013 when eight-year-old Emily started caring for six chicks on her family’s land and selling their eggs by the roadside.

Her dedication quickly became something much bigger. The farm now covers five acres and is home to chickens, ducks, geese, turkeys, guinea fowl, alpacas, pygmy goats, sheep, rabbits, guinea pigs and tortoises.

Our purpose

We want people of all ages and abilities to experience the joy, calm and learning that can come from spending time with animals. We also believe every encounter must respect the animals taking part.

Welfare comes first

Animals are selected for visits according to temperament, health, weather, journey and the type of environment. We may change a planned animal line-up when doing so is in the animal’s best interest.
